William C. Ross, III was born June 7th, 1942, at 7am at the Community Hospital in Norfolk to the proud parents of William C. Ross Jr, and Eugenia Walters Ross.

William C. Ross III, attended SC Armstrong, Elementary and RA Tucker Elementary. He attended Ruffner Junior high and Booker T. Washington High School {a proud graduate member from the class of 1960}. "Best Class Ever".

After graduation he went into the Military and served Two Tours in Korea.

Returning from the Military as an Army Veteran he went to New York worked with local 32BJ Building Management.

While in New York, he joined United Christian Baptist Church in the Bronx, NY, where he became an ordained Deacon. In 1975 William C. Ross III, became a BornAgain Christian. He was a Free Accepted Mason of Prince Hall and a member of Widow Son Lodge #11. After retirement of 25 years, he moved to Ford, Virginia. After eight years of rural living "noise" he moved back to Tidewater.

He joined Bethany Baptist Church {Campostella Rd} and remained a faithful member. He taught Sunday School, Joined the Golden Age Ministry and choir. He worked with the Youth Ministry and played an INTRICATE part with The Soldiers Of The Lord {SOL} for JESUS Ministry. He was also, part of the Agape Prayer group every week.

William C. Ross III, departed this life on January 10th, 2025, at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk Va.

He was proceeded by his father, mother and brother. He leaves to cherish, sister Gwendolyn Howell of Chesapeake Va, sister Annie Ross Darden, Norfolk Va, Ayanna Ross, daughter Alexandria Va. nephew Rodney Ross (Brenda} Chesapeake Va. Ms. Stackhouse, Chesapeake Va. Neice, nephew and a host of friends.
