Warren Marshall Lake passed away on Friday October 4, 2024, after a month-long illness. He was born on November 20, 1942, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a member of First Calvary Church. He graduated from Booker T Washington High School and Norfolk State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He was an Air Force veteran. He attended Syracuse University for his MBA. Professionally, he moved with his family to Massachusetts through a job at Xerox. He spent the next 50 years in Massachusetts mainly in Leominster. He worked at Digital for many years. The he worked at Dorr & Scheff, a marketing company. He was interested in local and state politics. He was an avid sports fan- loved the Los Angeles Lakers up until recently, Golden State Warriors, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He had a love-hate relationship with local sports teams. He was an avid tennis player and fan of the sport.

He made many lasting friendships over the years. Even if you hadn't spoken to him for a long time, he would always have to time to engage and give his advice even if you didn't ask for it. That was part of his charm.

He is preceded in death by mother, Audrey and brothers Marvin and Ricky. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Shirley of Leominster, MA and daughter Dawn of Seattle. He leaves behind sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ruby Farrar-Lake of Norfolk, VA, Mrs. Barbara Gregory of Hurt, Virginia Mrs. Connie Phillips of Dover, Delaware and brother-in-law, Cleveland Phillips of Dover, Delaware. He also leaves behind eight nieces, nine nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
