Walter Bernard Combre, Jr., born on September 18, 1939 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Mr. Walter Bernard Combre, Sr. and Lula Mae Wade.  He was also preceded in death by his loving daughter, Consulo Combre.

He received his education from the public schools of New Orleans, Louisiana.  He served in the United States Navy. After serving his county, he followed his dreams and opened his own business specializing in carpentry and interior design.  He later chose to use his carpentry skills at Norfolk Naval Shipyard from which he retired after 22 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memories; a son, Walter Rommel Combre, a daughter, Aleta Butler, a son-in-law, LeRoy Butler, three grandchildren, DeShel Cherry, Ariyana Butler, and Justin Butler; two great-grandsons, Kayden Tonnet and Kamran Cherry and a host of other relatives and loved ones.
