On Friday, May 12, 2023, God looked down from Heaven and dispatched an angel to bring our dearly beloved Trudy L. Hayes from her earthly journey to eternal rest. Trudy was the second daughter to the late William Henry Daniels and Harriette S. Daniels. Trudy was born September 02, 1944, native of Norfolk, Virginia. She was educated at St. Joseph Catholic School and Booker T. Washington High School, where she graduated in 1965. She later married the love of her life, the late Rufus B Hayes Jr. Trudy was predeceased by her grandparents, Addie and Guy Harris, Sr., & Gracie, and Charlie Harper, sister, Barbara Ann Sanderlin and brother Roy Harris, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory of five sons, Rufus B. Hayes III (Traci), Keith L. Hayes (Tawanda), Terry L. Hayes, Christopher Hayes (Danita) and Roy B. Harris (Sonja), 15 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren. One special nephew, Winfred Sanderlin (September), Five sister-in laws, three brother in laws, and a host of other relatives and friends. Trudy will sorely be missed by all.
