Theodore "Buster" Brevard Jr. 72, passed away at home with his family. Born October 11,1949 into the marriage of Cora Spain and Theodore Brevard Sr. Buster attended Norfolk Public Schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School where he played on the basketball team. He went on to work with the City of Norfolk Parks, Recreation, and Open Space. He served the community for over thirty years. He was a man for the people.

He leaves behind his mother, wife, five sisters, four daughters ,two sons , twelve grandchildren, ten  great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.  In lieu of flowers please  consider making donations to daughter  Tishauna Brevard, P.O. Box 322 Norfolk, VA 23501 to be given to Johns Hopkins Myositis Center or you may make your donations directly to the center at 750 E. Pratt St., 17th Floor,  Baltimore, MD 21202.  The donations will be used to help find a cure for Inclusion Body Myositis.
