Stanley W. Tyler, 78, was born on Feb. 29, 1936 and passed on Sept. 25, 2014, he was born to and predeceased by his parents, Stanley L. and Vivian L. Tyler and oldest brother Eugene W. Tyler. He was educated at St.Josephs Catholic School and Norfolk State University, a member of the US Army and retired from the US Postal Service. He was dedicated member of The Basilica of St. Marys of The Immaculate Conception for over 70 years and a member of The Knights of Columbus #367. He leaves to his memory, a daughter, Cynthia Tyler, sons, Stanley Tyler Jr. and Robert Tyler, six step children, a sister, Barbara Briggs, a brother, Douglas Tyler, eight grandchildren, one niece, two nephews, one great grandchild and other relatives and friends.
