Shirley Ann Graham Anderson was born December 6, 1943 in Knightdale Wake, North Carolina to the late Mary Agnes Graham and Sam Wiggans and transitioned on February 9, 2021. Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Harrison Christian, a brother, Edward Leon Graham, and a grandson, Adam Charles Brown.  She has said "goodnight" but not goodbye to her beloved family and friends. She has been called to heavenly peace with our Lord knowing that she has been one of His good and faithful servants on this earthly planet.

Shirley married her lifelong companion, Luther Anderson, Jr., on her birthday on December 6, 1965 and recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Shirley was a member of the Family Community Church where she served as a Deaconess and Youth Director. She was well respected and loved by many in the church community that she served; her works and dedication will never be forgotten.  Shirley also took pride in her dedication to feeding the homeless and visiting the sick in local hospitals. She and her spouse, Andy, also had their own philanthropic giving where they devoted their hearts to the children of St. Kitts in the Caribbean Islands. Mrs. Anderson received her diploma in May of 2014 where it was presented to her by her granddaughters Ariel and Janaye Graham on the last family cruise.

Left to cherish her loving memory, her eternal spouse, Luther Anderson Jr.; her two sons, Ronnie (Sheila) Graham of Mt. Airy, MD and Daryle (Lisa) Anderson of Richmond, VA; and one daughter, Donna (Allen) Lawson of Flint, MI. She also leaves her love and zest for life in her six grandchildren Jacques, Sean, Crystal, La Quita, Ariel, and Janaye; six great grands Danielle, Angelica, Olivia, Ava, Laila, and Micah; and five siblings, Michael Graham, Carolyn Smith (Robert), Apostle Nathaniel Staton (Pamela), Sylvester Staton, and Reginald Staton (Della). She had many other family members and friends that she loved, though they go unlisted. We wish for them to know that she held them all closely in her heart; family and friends were important to her.
