Russell A. Mason July 28, 1979 – January 18, 2025, Russell A. Mason passed away on January 18, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia. Born on July 28, 1979, in Norfolk, he lived a life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and career. Russell graduated from the Old Dominion Job Corps program as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Carpenter Helper. He worked as a CNA since 1997 and more recently as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the past six years. In 2021, he reaffirmed his faith at New Life Worship Center, a testament to his spiritual journey. Known for his vibrant personality and unique style, Russell brought joy and energy to everyone around him. He was a devoted son, husband, and father who fiercely protected and supported his loved ones. His candid nature and outgoing spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Russell is survived by his wife, Julina Mason; grandmother Alyce Mason; mother Paula Mason; siblings DeSean Mason, LaToya Holly, Purnisa Mason, Alycia Mason, Pamala Mason, and Antonio Burke; children Te'Quone Mason, Nakiya Mason, Kalonie Mason, Russell Mason Jr., Zion Mason, Ricquan Fulford and unborn child; cousins Mandel Wilson, Shalita Wilson, Bernard Wilson, Tareque Mason, Xavier Powell, Desonio Powell, Sammie Anderson, and Travis White; nephews Jonathan, Jaxon, Sean Jr., Dakari Fox and Monkeitus Spiers; nieces LeSeanna and Geneva; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. Arrangements may also be sent to the funeral home. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support shown during this time of loss.
