Rodney Leander Suiter, 68 died peacefully on Saturday July 27 at the Sentara Heart Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of Norfolk, Virginia he was the son of the late Luther Rodger and the late Wilma Wellington Reed Suiter. He   was predeceased by his longtime friend and companion Carlton Miller.

Rodney graduated from Norfolk Public Schools and was a veteran of the

United States Coast Guard. Rodney was a great lover of theatre and acting. He appeared in several local productions.

Rodney is survived by an uncle Paul R. Riddick Sr.  and an aunt

Barbara Suiter Gorham and several cousins, close family friends and many loving friends.
