Percival "Scott" R. Alarcon was born to Antero L. Alarcon, Jr. and Teresita R. Burke on May 31, 1975, in the Philippines. His family moved to the United States when he was just 2 years old. Since he was 14 years old, he lived in Virginia Beach, VA.

Scott is survived by his mother and father, as well as his wife Cynthia, and children Ryan, Joshua and Madison; sister Coleen Moody; brother Jeffrey Cataulin; and his step-father, Bernard W. Burke and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Haley Cristen.

Scott spent most of his adult life as a painter / home remodeler, with some time thrown in as a chef. He loved fixing things, and he loved cooking. He also spent time in an "unpaid job" as a Cub Scout Leader, and he was so proud to be able to call 40 boys his sons, and to help shape their childhoods with fun and meaningful activities.

Scott was an avid Star Wars lover and collector. He loved learning new things and teaching others. He was a lover of music, both listening and playing. He also loved animals.

Scott will be missed by many.
