Pauline Clark 94, of Chesapeake, VA gained her wings on April 19, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Born Pauline Lee, alongside her beloved twin sister Christine Lee on May 28, 1928, in Windsor, NC, she was the second of G. Curtis and Bessie Lee's eight children. Pauline graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1946. In 1949, she wed U.S. Naval Chief Petty Officer Richard Clark Sr. with whom she shared many years as a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. During his retirement, they volunteered together at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. She enjoyed serving as a deaconess for many years at First Calvary Baptist Church, where she also worked with the Pastor's Aid organization. She was a faithful member of the ILA Auxiliary. She enjoyed listening to music, fashion, dancing, and wrestling, but above all, her greatest joy was her family. Her biggest accomplishments in life were being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She traveled near and far to spend time with her family, even in her later years. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Clark Sr.; her twin sister Christine Anderson; her parents G. Curtis and Bessie Lee, ; Siblings: Ralph "Buster" Lee and Evelyn Lee Holloway. Left to cherish her memory; Sisters: Eleanor Sadler, Shirley Nelson, Jacquelyn Lee; Brother: G. Curtis " Kilroy" Lee, Jr: Children; Cheryl Clark, Richard Clark Jr. (Vanessa), Reginald Clark (Hilary), and Sharon Clark; Grandchildren: Torrey McCaney (Bianca), Richard Clark III, Alexandria Jordan (Chauncey), Leah Clark, Monique Heasley (Lee), Tylor Randall, Taylor Randall, Mark Randall, and Matthew Randall; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.
