Milagros "Mila" Casupanan, 65, born on September 30th, 1957, and passed away on April 24th, 2023 in Norfolk, Virginia, was known for her infectious laughter and warm hugs. She loved her family deeply and would do anything for them.

She was a loving wife to her husband, Domingo Casupanan Jr. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Zaidelaine (married to Lawrence), Kasey (married to Corey), and Tyler. She was also a proud grandmother to her three grandchildren, Kyler, Alex, and Kaleo, who affectionately called her "Yoya, Lala" She's a goal-driven daughter of Rosita and Wilfredo Arellano, and a caring sister to her siblings Charles, Samuel, Zenaida, Marilyn, John, Ferdinand, Imelda, Rudolph, and Wilma.

Mila was a compassionate person who touched the lives of everyone around her. She served her community at her homeland, the Philippines, as a dentist. She was known as "Doktora Mila". Her patients loved her gentle hands and great bedside manners. She had a heart of gold and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Her kindness and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.

She was also God-fearing and prayerful. She passed on her Catholic faith to her children.

Although she is no longer with us, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace in the arms of our Savior and reunited with her parents, who preceded her in death. Rest in peace, Mila. We will always cherish your memory and all the joy you brought into our lives.

A celebration of life will take place at Riddick Funeral Service on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral Liturgy at 5:00 p.m. on the same day. She will rest at her home for some time before her burial.
