Mckinley Hockaday was born 4/30/1939 in Littleton NC to the late Moses McKinley Hockaday and Lovella Warren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Robenia Hockaday, his stepmother Minnie Hockaday, brothers Edward Hockaday James Hockaday and Dennis Hockaday. One sister Janet Hockaday. He was educated in the Norfolk Public School System. McKinley was a retired plasterer. Jr as everyone called him liked to dress and was always sporting a new suit. He was well known in the Oakwood community. He was quite the character. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Eunice Neville, a granddaughter LaKesha Cheatham (Lamont) two great-grandsons Coi Neville-Little and Cade Cheatham a sister Judith Brown (Roderick) two brothers Michael Hockaday (Dena) and Melvin Hockaday. And a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.
