Mary Lindell Johnson born August 12, 1947, to the late Mary Hart and William Albert Johnson, was called home to the Lord early Tuesday morning February 11, 2025. Family and friends knew her was fearless, fun and an adventurous woman. In her early years, she loved skating, riding roller coasters, dancing and listening to her favorite Marvin Gaye songs. Most of her time was spent in Norfolk, she also lived in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach and St. Louis, Missouri. Her loved for traveling led her to live overseas with her three children, Deneen White, William White "Sonny" of St. Louis, Missouri and the late Felicia Parson. Her favorite past time was playing her PlayStation, especially with her grandson Ja'Quale Thomas, she played hide and go seek and Monopoly with her grandkids, D'Mari, Zaveon, Harmoney and June Bug.  She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her children Deneen and William (Angie), eleven grandchildren, including, Charise, Ieshia, Nicole, JaQuan and Natasha, Lauren, Darius, Cesaranik and Samantha, twenty plus great grandchildren, including, Charief, Jovanni, Xola and Alvonti (JB) and one great great grandson, Ciron (2months), five nephews of her sister, the late Dorothy Johnson Ford, (Ronald, Anthony(Annette), Kenny, Joseph and Randy) and her late brother James Johnson children, Marquis, Shenna, Jannita, Londria along with a host of great and great great nieces, and nephews and many loving relatives and friends.
