Margaret Skinner Cooper departed this life Saturday January 9 2016 at her home at 9:12pm. She was born on March 4, 1942 in Weekesville,NC to Linwood and Ethel(Johnson) Skinner, both preceded her in death as well as her brother Linwood Skinner. Margaret was reared in Norfolk,Va. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. Following high school, she attended Hampton Institute( University) where she received a Bachelor of Science in Education. Margaret was employed by Norfolk City Schools for over 33 years. She was a member of the Virginia Education Association. She is survived by her loving husband Edward Cooper Sr.(Ed) of 41 years of Chesapeake,VA; sons, Adrian Knight, Sr. and Edward Cooper, Jr. of Norfolk,VA; four grandchildren Lyndell Knight, Adrian Knight, Jr., Myrna Knight, Elias Cooper, five great grandchildren, Aniyah Knight, Nasir Knight, Tavion Knight, Neveah Knight and Na'shay Carr.

She will be greatly missed by all.
