The Lord is my shepherd, I LACK NOTHING, (NIV)

On JANUARY 7, 2025, our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom and mercy, entered the residence 600 block at Poe Court, Norfolk, VA, and claimed our loved one. Madeline Bibbins, a mother, grandmother, Great, great-grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend to many.

She was predeceased by her mother, Mrs. Cleo Hollomon, Her father Mr. Clarence Hollomon, her sister, Mrs. Diane Bates, and her brothers: Clarence & Ruppert Holloman. Her children, Clifton Bibbins, Jr. and Vervita Bibbins Arkam, her beloved great, granddaughter, Rikeria Bibbins.

Madeline Bibbins, affectionately known as "Matt" was caring, loving, and an outgoing person. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and was raised up in Antioch Baptist Church in Norfolk, VA. She grew up in the Norview area of Norfolk, VA; she graduated from Norview High School. After marriage to Clifton Edward Bibbins, Sr., and the birth of her children, "Matt" moved her family to New York and lived there for a period of thirty years. Upon returning to her native home from New York, "Matt" gained employment with the Norfolk Public School system. "Matt" also joined the New Hope COGIC, where she was able to attend faithfully until her health began to fail.

For a period of time, after her retirement, Madeline was able to travel with the support of close friends and family members. She often told stories to her grandchildren of the experiences that she had gained.

"Matt" had enough wisdom and knowledge about life and did not let anyone "get over on her." She could smell a SCAM far away!

Madeline Bibbins loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her great, great, grandchild. She was always VERY protective of them and greatly concerned about their well-being.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her granddaughter, Deeneil Bibbins, Norfolk, VA; her grandson, Justin Bibbins (Miriam) of Covington, Georgia; + 8 great grandchildren. Her great grandchildren, Deasia Little, Jayvion Sanderlin, Keanu Bibbins, of Norfolk, VA, and one great, great grandchild, Dequan McKee, Norfolk, VA. her sister, Mrs. Joyce Holloman Turner, of Norfolk, VA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members & friends. She will truly be missed!
