Mr. Leslie Mabery was the child of Mrs. Thelma Mabery and Mr. Leslie Mabery Sr.  He entered his eternal rest on Tuesday March 11th, 2025. Leslie enjoyed music, fine arts, and loved jazz artist like Earl Gardner Nat King Cole John Coltrane Billie Holiday and a host of other greats. Classical and blues he was so fond of that genre of music, he also enjoyed musicals as well. And was an avid reader especially books based on the Black culture. He came to New York from Norfolk, Virginia with his wife Edna Smally Mabery at the age of 18 years old. There he began a life in New York. He lived in Manhattan with his wife Edna and had three girls and two sons, Natalie Mabery Robin Mabery and Valerie Mabery and Leslie Seal Mabery Jr. and a son Nukrumah Mabery, eventually settling in the borough of the Bronx. He worked most of his adult life as a Tractor trailer driver, he became a part of the Muslim religion and beliefs in the late '60s and early '70s he gave his life to our father God Allah. He resided in Bronx New York and spent years of his golden life with friends and family he was an amazing person, father, and brother. He always tried to make himself available to help others he had a kind heart and spirit.  He always willing to help and give. He was preceded in death by his parents, father Leslie Mabery his mother Thelma Mabery and his daughter Natalie Marie Mabery, his son Leslie Seal Mabery, his grandsons DeShawn Lee Mabery, and Quan Khalil Mabery, sisters Doris White Mabery, Shirley Mabery, and sister Ethel B Epps, Bernice Sawyer, and a nephew Ernest White. He leaves behind to mourn, his daughters Robin Mabery and Valerie Mabery and a son NuKurmha Mabery; his grandchildren., Sherrod Duncan, Reece Mabery, Tre Duncan, Myles Duncan., Anwa Mabery, Kareem Mabery, Stephanie Mabery. Kevin Mabery and Guy Mabery, a sister Brenda Jenkins Mabery.  A brother Lionel Mabery, his niece Beverly Mabery. Adrian Sawyer Arnetta Sawyer Annette Sawyer and Johnny Sawyer. great-grandchildren... nieces and nephews' cousins... and a host of other relatives.
