Launna D. Rambeau peacefully passed away in Chesapeake, VA on January 17, 2023. Launna was born January 9, 1943, in Tabor City, NC to the late Gurtha Rambeau and Pansy Taylor. Launna was educated in Norfolk Public School and was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1961. She also graduated from Corrine Beauty School as well as attended Norfolk State University. She accepted Christ at an early age. She retired from AT&T as a frame technician for over 20 years. Launna was also a member of the Red Hatter Royal Starlites chapter. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts of all kinds and oh how she loved to dance and be outside in the garden. No wonder her favorite color was green. She truly had a green thumb and brought life to all. She even won several awards for her quilts. Launna had the most infectious smile; was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, niece, great grandmother and friend. Launna leaves to cherish her memory, Willie L. Williams, Derek Williams (Nannette) Terri C McCoy (Ray) siblings Gustav Von Rambeau (Yvonne Rambeau), Rose Mary Palmer (Soloman Taft Palmer III) and Lois Fay Holloway, Grandchildren; Kylea Smith, Shariah Harris, Janee Williams, Christopher Kershaw, Mia Williams and Barry "Mattie" Kershaw; great grandchildren Gabriel "Gabe" Harris, Jasei and Jayla Simmons.
