Jessie Anthony Grimes, 66, a native of Norfolk, Va and a long time resident of William T. Hall and Sentara Lifecare in Portsmouth, Va., expired peacefully into eternal rest on Friday April 19, 2013. Jessie was born August 30, 1946 to the late Jesse Longworth and Esther Tucker Grimes. She was a lifetime member of St. Johns AME Church in Norfolk, Va, where she was showered by her missionary with an umbrella of love and spiritual enhancements. She leaves to cherish her memory, a twin sister, Janice Grimes Phelps, and older sister, Esther Gorham- Whitley(Jimmie) many aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, friends and dedicated healthcare providers.
