Brother Jerome Miller affectionately known to his friends as "Joe Nose," embraced the Muslim Community of Tidewater at an early age, took his eternal rest on Thursday, March 4, 2021. He was born in Norfolk Virginia on May 18, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hazell Sr. and Madeline Hoyles Miller, and brothers, Hazell Miller, Jr., Vernon Miller and Adron Wendell Miller.

Jerome was raised in Norfolk and attended Norfolk Public Schools. He was comical and loved telling jokes. He was a Temptations fan like his younger brother Adron. He also enjoyed Sunday dinners with family at his sister's Mattie Mae's home. Jerome was dedicated to his faith and he frequented the Masjid until his illness.

To cherish his memories, he leaves two children Maria Bailey and Arthur Bailey. Also left to cherish Jerome's memories are his sisters, Wilma (Earl) Taylor, Mattie Mae Harrell, Juanita Baker, Patricia Rogers, Linda Mitchell, Sharon (Ronald) Richardson and brother Glenn (Rose) Miller and a host of nieces and nephews
