India Camilla Jordan was born to George L. Jordan and Jesse Mae Wallace-Jordan on April 29, 1962, in Bronx, NY.

She moved to Norfolk at a young age. For over 20 years she worked in the hotel industry. With a smile to light the room, everywhere she went everyone knew her. She did not care if you liked her or not, she was going to speak her mind. When it came to sports, she was an avid Denver Broncos fan. India also, loved to have a good time. She was the life of the party, and before she would leave you have to make a plate for to take home to John.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, George L. Jordan; mother, Jesse Mae Wallace-Jordan; beloved brothers, Sylvester Jordan and George L. Jordan.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her only child DeShanna L. Jordan; her only grandson Chrishan M. Jordan (Autasia); her great-granddaughter Cali D. Jordan; her lifetime companion John R. Long; three sisters, Novella Jordan, Leverne Jordan, Elizabeth Jordan; one brother, Jesse Jordan; one niece Latorria Jordan; her nephews, Daniel Jordan, Vaushon Jordan, Antwan Jordan, Leon Jordan, Coreyon Jordan, and Calvin Jordan, and a host of cousins and her best friend Mildred (Ace)

India will truly be missed by all of her fur babies, who were also, her riding partners, Libby, Diamond, Roscoe, Rocky, and Spot.
