On Thursday November 14, 2013 our beloved Hattie Vivian McCoy Ambrose was called home to be with the Lord. She was born September 18, 1922 in Norfolk, Virginia to Ruth Wilson McCoy and Edward Francis McCoy. She was the eighth of ten children. Hattie married the late Matthew M. Ambrose, she was a devoted wife, loving mother and a professed child of Christ. She leaves to her memory daughters, Vivian Miller (Kenneth) Mary McMullen and Regina Ambrose, sons, Matthew Ambrose, Jr. (Valerie) and Edward Ambrose, six grandchildren; Altavez, Alphonso, Aisha, Candice, Jason and Justin, three great grandsons, Ty'Quez, Edward K. and Edward S., one great granddaughter, Aylese, a sister Angela McCoy Brice of Washington D.C., a brother, George McCoy of Norfolk,VA., and many loving cousins, nieces,nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
