A Time to Be Born
Harvey Eugene Lewis was born on May 29, 1948, to William Henry Lewis and Mary Helen Gibson Lewis.

A Time to Live
Harvey attended A.G. Richardson School and finished at George Washington Carver High School in Culpepper County. He furthered his education by attending St. Paul's College there he met his good friend John Latney. He came to Washington, District of Columbia to live with his sister Mary J. Lewis and her husband. He met his first wife Barbara and moved to Great Falls, Virginia. He was hired at Ballou High School as a teacher. He loved fast cars. He owned a red corvette and a yellow one.

A Time to Love
Harvey met Carmen Mateo. He was a great husband, friend, neighbor and never angry. He told Carmen a few months before he died that she made him very happy. I didn't know that you loved me that much. He was willing to help anyone. He would go to the store just to make the cashiers day brighter.
A Time to Die
Harvey heard a voice from heaven calling his name. An angel came and took his hand and guide him to his eternal home.
Harvey left for glory on March 29, 2023.He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Carmen Lewis, his brother, William Lewis, his sisters, Mary Joyce Royster, his brother-in-law Robert, Jackie Towell, Wanda Lewis, Yvonne Lewis, nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.
