Our Heavenly Father called home one of his children, Gregory L. Hardy Sr, a dedicated husband, father of Four- passed away on Oct 30, 2022, at the age of 56. Gregory L. Hardy Sr, affectionately called "Top Cat." Grew up in Memphis, Tenn and graduated from South Side High School 1984. After working several jobs in Memphis in 1994, he moved to Portsmouth, VA where he met his wife Elizabeth (Betty). Together they raised two children, daughter Jazmine and son Anthony.  Top Cat developed a passion for working with his hands; he started and managed his owned business "Top Cat's" home improvement. An ingenious spirit who cares for the simple things in life: food, family, friends and Blues. Later in life, Top Cat found joy in fishing and cooking for his family. Top Cat touched the lives of those around him. A devoted father, there was nothing Top Cat took more joy in than spending time with his family. Whom he loved beyond measure. Top Cat predeceased in death by his parents Linton Hardy Sr and Queen E. Hardy. Left to cherish Top Cat's memory is his wife Betty, daughter Jazmine, son Anthony, son Gregory Jr, daughter Ashley, Granddaughter Angel, Grandson Gavin. His brothers Bud (Loretta) Fl; Michael (Cynthia) Tenn; brother Tony (Miss). Father and Mother in -law John Caro (Frances); brother-in laws Christopher (Colette); sister-in -law Denise (John) and sister-in-law Kristy. Seven Aunts, one Uncle and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
