Gola Alexander was born March 20, 1919 in Halifax County, NC to the late Hutching and Hester Alexander. Gola was married July 21,1941 to the late Mattie Beatrice Wiggins, he worked for the Little Creek Base for over 40 years. He was a member of Cathedral of Faith COGIC where he served as a deacon, usher and choir member. In his spare time, he loved growing vegetables in his garden, especially collard greens.He was predeceased in death by his daughter, Mar Green, he is survived by his children, Alvester Wiggins, Evelyn Stewart, and Goldie Alexander, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews and a host of special friends, especially Mrs. Ruby M. Swain
