On January 7, Fred Lee Phillips Sr. was called home to the Lord. A native of Newberry, South Carolina, he was born to the late Ruth and Samuel Phillips Sr. Fred retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station, and was a avid Nissan "Z" lover and a member of the "Lunch Bunch". He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Winifred L. Phillips, eight children, twenty grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, five sisters and one brother and many loving relatives and friends.
