Ernest L. Jones, 59 passed on Thursday April 4, 2013 at Durham Regional Hospital. A native of Norfolk, he was born August 16, 1954 to the late John R. Jones Sr and Annie E. Jones. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Harry, Henry, and Herbert. Ernest served in the US Army from Aug 3, 1976 until June 28, 1982. He returned to Norfolk briefly before moving to Augusta, GA with his family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Christine and daughters Abigail, Amy, and Denia. Sisters, Betty J. Spears, Hannah G. Jones, Patricia A. Holloman, Geanna M. Jones, Antoinette Jones and Juanita M. Jones, brothers, John R. Jones, Jr, Lathan L. Jones and Horace D. Jones. Grandchildren, Demarae, Demaiyah, Trevion, and Kristian and a host of nieces and nephews.
