Elihu (Butch) Welsh born and raised in Norfolk,Va departed his earthly home on Sept 4, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary and brother Nathaniel(Geraldine) Our beloved husband,brother,father,grandfather,great grandfather and great great grandfather, uncle and friend will be missed. Butch retired from Norfolk Public Schools and was a faithful member of Queen Street Baptist Church. He also served in the USMC during the Korean Conflict. Awaiting his arrival are parents John and Rachel, siblings, Margaret Trotman, Odessa Welch, Naomi Brown, Ulysses, Alphonso, Hilton, Johnnie and Wilbert Welch. The family would like to thank you for the prayers and condolences during this time. A special thank you to all who so lovingly assisted Butch during his illness, so many of you helped when called upon. Thank You Sheila Ives and Jennifer Ballance for your unconditional support.
