Edwin Lawrence Wilson was born November 5, 1951 to the late James Wilson and Helena King Wilson Payton in Baltimore, Maryland. Edwin loved music and played with the Norfolk State Marching Band, and also performed with the 21st Century Band. Edwin had worked as an electrician at the Newport News Ship Building. Edwin loved his family especially his sons. He is survived by two sons, Stephen Lawrence Smith and Michael Edwin Smith and a brother Ronald Payton(Linda) and loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
