Edward Paul Perkins, 69, of Norfolk, VA, passed away in his sleep Tuesday morning, February 27, 2024.  He was born on April 14, 1954 in Norfolk, VA to the late Edward and Lena Perkins.

He is survived by his sister Linda P. Keel (Clarence) and his long-time friend Pam Hill.

Ed was educated in the Norfolk Public School System, and served in the United States Army in the early 1970's.  He then worked for and retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad.  During his retirement years, he cherished many hours fishing and shooting pool. He also enjoyed dining with friends and the employees of his favorite places to eat, the Little Creek Diner, Ocean View Diner and Azalea Inn.

The family will receive friends during a visitation to be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 4 at Riddick Funeral Service Chapel, 1225 Norview Avenue, Norfolk, VA.
