Cora A. Chavis, 91, passed peacefully on Wednesday March 4 at her residence. Mrs. Chavis is survived by her son, Irving Chavis Jr., daughters Irvine C. Barnes, Veronica C. McInnis(Alexander) and Carolyn C. Avery. She will be also sorely missed by her loving and caring twenty one grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a son Wayne Chavis and a daughter Hermione Norfleet.
