Cheryl Denise Carey departed this life on March 5, 2026. October 7, 1966 Cheryl was born to Darlene Hoggard and William Gibson. Cheryl grew up in the Diggs Town / Campostella area where she met her husband Floyd and went on to have 4 children. Cheryl was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and knew her bible very well. A loving caring loyal and friendly woman to the people she cared for. She loved to talk to her oldest son dinky she would call him for any and everything. Cheryl was the definition of superwoman. She showed her kids genuine unconditional love no matter the situation they found them selves in. Cheryl husband found himself a real woman and never left her side.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother and father Darlene Hoggard and William Gibson, son Talbert Carey, sister Mattie Gibson.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Floyd Carey Sr. two sons Floyd Carey Jr. and Joshua Carey, one daughter Charlene Chavez Carey 15 grandchildren, three brothers William Gibson, James Gibson, and Talbert Gibson one sister Tonya Gibson.
