On Sunday May 28th, God looked down from Heaven and dispatched an Angel to bring our dearly beloved Charles from his earthly journey to eternal rest. Charles was born to the late Julia Anna Delk and Charles Winston Swift Sr. on May 22, 1953. A native of Norfolk, Charles attended Richard Tucker Elementary School and Booker T. Washington High School Class of 1971 and Norfolk State University and was a lifelong devoted member of The United House of Prayer for All People. Charles was a dedicated member of ILA 1248 and retired after 25 years of service; upon retirement Charles worked at Riddick Funeral Service as a funeral attendant.  Charles was predeceased by a son, Brian McClammy.  Charles is survived by his daughter Kisha McIntyre, son Charles Swift III(Jessica), granddaughters Brionne Lawrence, Ajaylah Swift and Isabella Swift,  sisters Marian Rutledge and Velda Brathovaite and brothers Willie Edward Liverman (Terry) and Samuel Swift and many loving nephews, nieces, family members and friends.
