We regretfully announce the passing of Carol Marie Sanderson. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones on August 21, 2021, after a difficult battle with cancer, and is finally at rest. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 16, 1978 to Joanie and Richard Saia.  She was married to Michael D. Sanderson, Jr. Carol graduated from Independence High School. She is predeceased by her sons, Michael D. Sanderson, III and Jacob B. Sanderson. She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Sanderson, Jr., her daughter, Charlotte M. Sanderson, son, Sebastian M. Sanderson and daughter, Isabella M. Sanderson. She is also survived by her mother and father, Joanie and Richard Saia, her brother, Tony Saia, her sister and brother-in-law, Susan Saia-Darmody and Sean Darmody, her nephew, Calvin Saia, her niece, Savahanna Darmody, her mother and father-in law, Liza and Michael D. Sanderson, Sr., and her sister-in-law, Michelle Sanderson. Carol also leaves to cherish her memories, a host of other relatives and friends.
