Bertha Annette Palmer Johnson was born on October 19, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia and went to her heavenly home on March 1, 2023. Annette graduated from I.C. Norcom High School and was a proud graduate of Norfolk State University. She was civic minded and very engaged in her civic league (Idlewood) which she was President for many years. She leaves behind her two children, Debra Johnson and Richard Johnson (Morgan) three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Pearline Harmon (Roosevelt) and two close family friends Ada Blair and Juanita Lee.
