Benny Frank Bennett passed away on February 3, 2026, he was born September 6, 1919 in Corapeake, N.C., to the late Blackwell and Almeter Bennett. He graduated from I.C. Norcom High School, a graduate of Howard University, a proud US Army veteran and worked faithfully at the Norfolk Naval Air Station. Benny will be remembered for his quiet minded sense of duty and sacrifice he made and for the love for his family. He loved reading and would often be found in the library. He spent many hours reading and writing scriptures found in the Holy Bible, enjoyed gardening, solving challenging math problems, bird watching and classical music, he was also a talented artist and loved watching sports. Benny is survived by three sisters, Nevonne Stringfellow, Mildred Payne and Mary Gibson and a brother Judge Arthur T. Bennett (Josephine) a niece, Camille Gibson, Rita Wilkins, great niece, Shari Wilkins and nephew, Alvin Bennett (Vivian) along with extended family and friends. We will greatly miss our brother and he will remain in our hearts forever
