On Saturday July 19th, 2025, our beloved Barbara Sue Robinson aka "Sue Sue" got her wings at her residence in the city of Norfolk at the age of 80. Barbara Sue was born on January 26, 1945, to the late Dora Dunn and Luther Benjamin in Halifax County, NC and raised by Viola Benjamin. Barbara Sue was married to the late Pertel Robinson. Barbara Sue was full of life. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, shopping, dancing and listening to music. Her presence was always known everybody knew" Sue Sue". Barbara Sue attended I.C. Norcom High school in Portsmouth, VA. She was also a member of First Baptist Campostella. Barbara Sue leaves to cherish her memories four sisters Yolanda, Yvonne, Yuanita & Bernice two brothers Curtis and Arthur. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley and brother Larry. Left to cherish her memory a daughter Viola and five sons Pertel, Rodney, Ronald, Skacey and Laushaun Robinson; twenty-four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and also her Ride or Die Sade' (granddaughter).
