Ami Elizabeth Cook transitioned on Tuesday January 5, 2021. Ami was born on April 28, 1969 in Norfolk, VA to Cynthia Lee Hicks and Albert Owen Galloway. She attended Norview High School and graduated from Cosmetology school where she then became a hairdresser, later in life she became a caretaker for her mother Cynthia. Ami gave the best of her life to her two daughters, her son, and her grandchildren. She is best known for her love for kids and coaching. She dedicated many years as a coach and team mom for many teams at Little Creek National Pony Baseball, Tarrallton Hornets Basketball and Azalea Packers Football. She had a great love for music and going to concerts including her favorite band Motley Crue.

Ami leaves to cherish her memory her  parents, her daughters, Jamie Louise Cook, Stefanie Marie Brown(Joshua) son, Matthew Allen Cook, grandchildren, Amberlee, Gabriel, and Grayson and many loving relatives, friends and lives she has touched with the warmth of her heart.
