Norfolk, Va. - Alice Cook Johnson, age 85 passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Born and raised in Lamberts Point and a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School also a former member of First Baptist Church of Lamberts Point. Alice was the youngest of nine children of the late Frank and Cora Lee Cook. Alice is predeceased by her son Alfred J. Johnson, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Alfred J. Johnson Sr., three daughters, Dianne J. Sanders (Willis) of Norfolk, Va., LaCountess J. Jernigan (Edward) of Va. Beach, Va. and Kathryn Johnson of Norfolk, Va. five sons, Frank Johnson of Norfolk, Va., Robert Johnson (Marisol) of Baltimore, Md., Maurice Johnson of Niagara Falls, NY., Kevin Johnson (Veronica) of Chesapeake, Va., and Gregory Johnson (Teia) of Herndon, Va. , one sister Clarice Cook Branch, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. The viewing is scheduled for Monday, August 12, 2013 at Riddick Funeral Home 1225 Norview Ave, Norfolk, Va. 23513 from 2:00 - 8:00; family will visit with friends from 6:00 - 7:00.
