Alice Elizabeth(Major)Davis, 88, of the 2600 Block of Mapleton Avenue departed this world on Wednesday October 10th. She was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Annie(Anthony)Major. She was born on October 27, 1923 and lived in the Liberty Park section of Norfolk, and married Melvin Davis and raised three children Rhonda,Dwight, and Mallory. Mrs. Davis taught her kids a work ethic to work hard and always do their best. A funeral service will be held at Grace Episcopal, October 18, 12 noon and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
