Obituary Abdur Rahmaan Halisoni-Ihsaan FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS On Saturday, in the early morning hours of March 1, 2025, our beloved Son, Brother, Husband & Father quietly left us. Abdur Rahmaan Halisoni-Ihsaan (Ramon' D. Halison) was born on August 7,1976 in Portsmouth, VA to Roland D. Wolfe & Denise D. Halison. Abdur was affectionately known as "Pappy or Lil Pappy". He attended I.C. Norcom High and went on to study at American University where he studied Islam. He graduated with honors and spoke Arabic fluently. He later took a trade and was well experienced in heating, ventilation & air conditioning. (HVAC certified). He was always ready to lend a helping hand and would swoon you with those light brown eyes and a smile. He was known for his maintenance skills at so many companies; Norstrom's at McArthur, Norstrom's, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Neiman Marcus, Charlotte, NC and Maintenance Supervisor at many properties in Chesapeake, Norfolk & Virginia Beach, VA. He was the protector for his mother and sister early as a young boy but quickly became the man of the family and tried to cover his two younger brothers. He met and married his childhood sweetheart Alecia Thomas-Halison and from that union two children were born whom he loved dearly. He loved reggae music, Beres Hammond was his favorite, he loved documentaries, a good movie with family and some good food. Abdur is preceded in death by his brother, Damon D. Halison, his maternal grandparents, Frank & Bessie Halison, paternal grandparents, Joe & Ida Wolfe, an uncle, Frank Halison III and a dear cousin Antonio Wolfe. He leaves to mourn his wife, Veronica Ihsaan of Virginia Beach, his Mother, Denise D. Halison of Suffolk, VA, his father, Roland D. Wolfe of Portsmouth, VA, a daughter Akaila D. Halison & a son Aqeel Ihsaan of Suffolk, VA, one brother, Rashaun A. Taylor of California, two sisters, Shonda D. Taylor of Portsmouth, VA and Ebonee Belcher of Richmond, VA. one stepdaughter Moyay Walden-Williams (Byron), two stepsons Brian Williams, Jr. and Kami Walden, a step-grandson, Imari Williams, all of Virginia Beach, VA and two nieces, Emari Sessoms & Sariah Harris, three nephews, Daikwon Smith, Mekhi Taylor and Zamauri James and a host of three aunts Norma Halison of Allentown, PA., Sylvia & Mellicent Halison of Portsmouth, VA and two uncles, Marvin Halison (Barbara) of Columbus, OH and Michael Halison (Julia) of Richmond, VA and a host of cousins. Abdur was true to his Muslim faith and was a member of the Masjid ash Shura, Norfolk, VA. He had so many gifts and talents. Abdur will surely be missed. He will live in our hearts forever.
